Mirroring Your Inner and Outer World

Updated: Feb 28

All things in your world are a reflection of what's inside of you. What you experience in your daily life is a mirror of yourself. This is why you can move to a completely new place and still find yourself in the same types of situations you found yourself in before. The universe does this to teach you lessons where you need healing.

Standing firm in your boundaries so you're not betraying yourself by letting other's use you, or friends and partners being upset with you because you subconsciously resort to manipulation tactics to meet your needs instead of being direct to get them, just to give some examples. More often than not these patterns that are reflecting what needs healing stem from childhood traumas we've forgotten or repressed. This is why it's important to go within and find these broken off aspects where the trauma occurred and integrate them back into yourself.

You get in what you put out. When all you focus on is the negativity in your life, it reflects in your external world. Focus on the positivity and things you’re grateful for and more abundance reflects back.

This is step one, the easy step. It’s the next step people struggle with, the healing process.

Remember, “As within, so without.” When denying and repressing past traumas and aspects of yourself that you don’t like, they don’t go away. They’re still inside you.

You don’t like having a job with a schedule and deadlines? Find a job that’s more tailored for traveling and see the abundance start flowing to you. Money leaves you faster than it comes to you? Examine your relationship with money. Is it evil? Is it scarce? Discover the programming that led you to those beliefs and reprogram yourself. No friends? Sit alone with yourself and learn who you really are. Build a trusting and safe relationship with yourself and see what happens. Integrate your fragmented parts and embrace and accept your shadow side instead of trying to keep it at bay.

Emotional blockages are another thing. They’re like a dam holding back energy. You have learn to channel them and let them loose so the energy can flow properly. For many people this might mean learning to reconnect with their emotions.

As you integrate, heal, unlearn and relearn, you’ll slowly begin to notice these changes reflected in your outer world. It’s a gradual process and it’s not always an easy one, but the rewards are worth it.

Thank you for reading, and have an Enlightening day
